Planning a wedding on the beach? Utilize the tide chart to determine the best time for your wedding. In case you don’t have tide charts in your part of the country, this chart will give you information on when the tide is coming in and going out. There are typically two high and two low tides each day. During high tide, the water will come in further on the beach and limit your space. During low tide, you may see more mud than water. Is there a full moon? The tide gets much higher during that time period.

Just what is a NoSeeUm? It is a pesky biting fly that derives its name because you typically feel the bite before you see the bug. Their bites can leave you scratching for weeks. Spring and fall are the best season to find these little creatures. Bring your bug repellant with you and warn your wedding guests. Breezy days are a blessing when it comes to NoSeeUm’s because they help keep the bugs at bay. Consider taking 250 mgs. of Vitamin B-1 daily starting a few days before and continuing through your trip to the area.
